Hey everyone, I am looking for information on the base housing nearest to the Depot. I see that Gateway is across the street, but it is a no pet community and we have a cat so I was hoping to find out what other housing I should be looking at that is nearby. It seems like the next closest is Silver Strand II and Chesterton Townhomes. Does anyone know anything about those? And how close they are? It's hard to tell from all the maps and such. We actually won't be moving until next year so I have time to plan. We have family out there so I might just fly out early and look around at off base rentals to see what's available and closest to his work. Any reccomendations for off base? Normally it wouldn't be a big deal how far away we live, but I'm not willing to give up my kid's time with daddy since he won't get a lot of time off being a Drill Instructor. I told my husband I would consider giving our cat away, but he flipped out and said he'll drive however far he has to so I guess we'll figure it out! ha
